I can already hear a lot of people saying that there is no reason to keep HBO once Game Of Thrones is over. However, I personally find some interest in the HBO Chernobyl miniseries.
The show is made of 5 episodes and will air from the 6th of May until June 3rd. And as you can guess with the title, the plot will focus on Chernobyl disaster that occurred in Ukrainian SSR in 1986.
For the cast you will find a couple of known faces, but maybe not names. Such as Jared Harris (Lane Pryce in Mad Men and most recently as King Charles VI in The Crown), Stellan Skarsgård (in the Thor and Avengers movies and Emily Watson (Bess McNeil in Breaking the Waves).
Let’s just wait and see how it goes and hope that the show really tries to show the situation and not some kind of fictional story. The writers and creators apparently did a lot of researches and questioned a lot of people for years, so it is reinsuring on that side.
To make your own opinion about HBO Chernobyl here is the first trailer and the last one from today:
Codemasters just released a bunch of news about F1® 2019 today!
It first starts with the announcement of a Legends Edition, including Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost form 1990, with the McLaren MP4/5B and the Ferrari F1-90 respectively. What is described is a face-off over eight race challenges. It also includes exclusive Senna and Prost themed car for the multiplayer (basically cars with the driver helmet colors).
Another good part of it is a 3 days early access for June 25th 2019 and this is confirmed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
F1® 2019 will also get an Anniversary Edition. This is because it is 10 years that Codemasters Birmingham Studio is giving us F1 games. This edition will get the Ferrari F10, driven by Alonso and Massa, and the Mclaren MP4-25 from Hamilton and Jenson Button.
Those 2 cars will also be in the Legends Edition and you will still be able to purchase those cars later.
Codemasters also confirm that F1® 2019 will get the FIA Formula 2 Championship. The full 2018 season will be available and the 2019 will be added later in the year! Really good news for the career mode!
Last but not least, the game will have a lot of cover art, depending on which country you are buying it.
UK and global will get Vettel and Hamilton. Most of the country will get Hamilton and a driver from the country where it is sold, such as Spain with Sainz, Canada with Stroll, Australia with Ricciardo etc. Except for France which will get Leclerc and Gasly.
There is also a steelbook available with some retailers!
