Kill la Kill: 2 new characters

Qube, Arc System Works and Studio TRIGGER have released two new videos of characters for Kill la Kill.

In this showcase, we can see two members of Honnōji Academy’s Elite Four: analyst Houka and musical genius Nonon!

The video game Kill la Kill is based on the anime of the same name.
The release is planned on July 26th on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch in Europe, and on July 25th on PC/Steam.

Google Stadia: Special features from Streaming

Recently I have made an article about all what need to know about the Google Stadia. Today a couple of other news has shown up.

First, Stadia boss Phil Harrison confirmed that the price will not change. Indeed, some players and press were expected a lower price for the Stadia considering that it is an all-online system. But this is a clear answer if you had any hope in it.

Secondly, the same Harrison mentioned that the fact of having an all-online streaming platform will bring more features, never seen with consoles. Sadly, he does not give more details about it, except maybe one:

“If you look at Ghost Recon Breakpoint, it has this amazing stream connect feature where you can see what your friends are seeing in the game, superimposed inside the game,” he explained. “Those are first examples of innovations that will, over time, mean that streaming games will have these advantages that players will gravitate towards.”

I guess that this is a nice feature, but I really hope that they have more ideas in mind!

Killsquad Coming to Early Access

Killsquad will be available on Steam in early access on July 16th.

The game  is set in a futuristic world that combines a space western style with the top down look and feel of a traditional RPG with fast-paced action

We are extremely pleased with the reception Killsquad got from everyone at E3, which proves that we’re onto a great concept,” said Dani Sanchez-Crespo, Game Director at Novarama. “The Early Access build is the first time we’re going to open the doors into the Killsquad universe. Though only a sample of what we have in mind, our Early Access version will have everything from smooth controls, action-packed gameplay to plenty of content to keep RPG fans coming back for more. We are looking forward to working with our community on shaping it into a truly great co-op action game.”

In Killsquad, players can select one of 4 different heroes to play, each of which has their own distinct capabilities based on their class: Assassin, Warrior, Specialist or Support. There is also a large choice of skills and upgradeable gear options. Players are also able to join each other and tag for some contracts.

The concept of the game and the game itself honestly looks pretty nice. Quite eager to test it as soon as possible!

Astellia – Beta start today

The Beta of Astellia just started today and is running until June 2nd. To access the Beta … well, you need to pre-purchase the game.

Astellia Online is a MMORPG where Astellians are heroes blessed by the stars to call upon magical allies known as Astels.

Beta testers will provide the studio with data about features and mechanics. The studio is interested to study the progression speed and updated combat systems. Saturday will offer players a chance to try out high-end gameplay in Astellia with a level boost and suitable equipment.

The game seems to have 5 different classes as Warrior, Scholar, Archer, mage, and Assassins. Graphically, the game looks really nice and the world really seems interesting.

Giveaways are also happening on the official Astellia Discord

New Yakuza game with Ichiban Kasuga coming soon!

If you like Yakuza games, well I hope that you ordered Judgment coming out tomorrow (25th), and the other good news is that a new Yakuza game will be announced on July 10th.

The information was given by Yakuza’s producer  Daisuke Sato. We already know that the game will star Ichiban Kasuga and a supporting actress will be revealed too.

Not a lot of information, except that the producer would like to “drastically” change the game. Which is something that I can understand. The Yakuza series is very good, but it is also good to change things, at least a little.

Let’s wait and see for July 10th!
