Citadel: Forged With Fire, free this weekend

Here is an interesting game on steam which got everything to be really good but got mixed reviews: Citadel: Forged With Fire.

The game is an online sandbox RPG, with magic, crafting, and exploration. It is still in development, so technically early access but it can really become a perfect sandbox in a medieval/fantasy world. The map is 36 square kilometers, and because it is online you will meet other players on it and can create alliance. Apparently, some players also created amazing custom castles and fortress strongholds

The good news is that the game is for free this weekend on steam which is a great opportunity to test it!

Citadel will launch its full game worldwide next Friday, November 1, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam.
Blue Isle Studios plans an extensive roadmap of free content updates for Citadel, announcing its first DLC is slated to launch in early 2020. The initial milestone delivery will feature narrative-driven quests, the most widely requested feature from the community. Players can expect a steady cadence of post-launch content to come early next year.

Citadel: Forged With Fire

If you like magic and wizards you will like Citadel: Forged With Fire.

Blue Isle Studios just released a trailer today to give a look at the game.

From the information I have, the game is set in the enchanted world of Ignus, which is a massive online sandbox. In it, you will learn spellcasting, spell crafting and broomstick flying. Yes, it does sound as if you were going to Harry Potter’s wizard school, but it is not a Harry Potter game.

So, you will be able to enchant any wand or weapons, with different effect and elemental essence. You will be able to fly but not the only broomstick, but you can also ride dragons and eagles are also. There will be broomstick sports, as a multiplayer competition. And there will be magical creatures and bosses in a word with plains, forests, mountains, swamp, frozen tundra, and caverns.

The last bit of it is that players will be able to create Houses and then an empire.

It sounds too good to be true, so I will put it on my list and hope to get more info about it very soon!

Citadel: Forged With Fire will launch worldwide on October 11 for Playstation 4, Xbox one and on Steam (at $39.99). And it is already available for pre-order.
